I have HUGE news! I recently, as in the past 2 hours, was privileged enough to be asked to attend Rebels and Readers Author Event and accepted. Okay, I may have screamed "Yes!" lol .... (moving on) It will be held on November 8, 2014 at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena in Huntington, West Virginia!!! What you may not know about this event is this: 100% of the money that the event takes in is going to Children's Literacy in our tri state area, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Ohio. I am from West Virginia and absolutely love Turnthe Pages for doing this and also asking me to participate in such a wonderful event that will give back to the area I'm from.
Here are 3 links you can find all kinds of info regarding the event, including but not limited to authors attending the event, event times and pricing, swag...etc

never been in one place long enough to make any other friends and when she
actually meets Giovana, Amber is happy to have a friend, but leery. With good reason.
MaryLynn Bast grew
up in Texas. An avid reader, she enjoyed writing romantic short stories. After
moving to Las Vegas in 201o and starting a new chapter in her life, she
followed her dream of publishing her first book, a paranormal romance, in 2012
and continues to write stories for the Heart of a Wolf Series. She is branching
out and beginning the Panther Pride Saga. A few other stories are in the works

This story is very alluring. As each page would come to an end, I found myself flipping to the next out of pure curiosity. All of these reasons and many more, that I can't give due to spoilers, is why I give this book a five star rating.
Amber has seen more than her fair share of trouble and experienced more than someone of her age should have to. She longs for companionship, but is met with the brutal truth that seeking this will only lead her to misery.
The character development of this book is admirable, leaving each character very likable. Each have their own back story, which I am very excited to learn more about. I haven't read paranormal romance in a good bit and the fact that I found myself feeling what the characters did made me love the book even more.
I do not give away spoilers in a review, but I can say I thoroughly enjoyed this book. MaryLynn did an exceptional job at grabbing the reader by the horns and pulling them into the story. I was sad when the end of the book came and I can’t wait to read more. I would like to read more about Blake and Darius. Oh Darius. For some reason he won me over and I followed every movement his piercing blue eyes made. Definitely would love to read more about him. **hint hint MaryLynn**
